And she says her new alb will be the Best Dam Thing you've heard...
Former Sk8r girl Avril Lavigne has announced she'll release her third studio album, 'The Best Dam Thing', in April 2007.
A single called 'Girlfriend' will precede it in February.
But despite Ms Lavigne now being a wife, don't expect her to have gone all serious and grown-up on us.
Writing on her MySpace site, the 22-year-old who wed Sum 41 dude Derek Whibley last year, said of the new single, "I promise you guys will LOVE this record - it is my favourite one.
"And I can't wait! It is really fast, fun, young, bratty, aggressive, confident and cocky in a playful way ... All the good stuff."
The new album will be an up-tempo affair too. "I will only have like three slow songs on the record," she added.

Avril Lavigne's new album will not be called The Best Dam Thing, but rather The Best Damn Thing. According to her spokesperson, Lavigne intentionally misspelled the title, "but she decided to change it. Kind of like 'Sk8er Boi.' " ...
